Guru Nanak Jayanti celebrates the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. It is one of the most popular festivals in India. People across the country celebrate this day with great devotion. Sikh devotees prepare special dishes at home, pray at Gurudwaras and even decorate their houses to make it look all special. People also help in organizing langars at Gurudwaras and volunteer for social services as well. This day also sees Prabhat Pheri being organized in various parts of the country where people sing devotional songs. But since this year, we're all confined to our homes due to COVID-19, the celebrations are going to be restricted to limited spaces. No grand celebrations will take place this year in order to avoid large crowds and to maintain social distancing.

There is but One God. His name is Truth; He is the Creator. He fears none; he is without hate. He never dies; He is beyond the cycle of births and death. He is self-illuminated. He is realized by the kindness of the True Guru. He was True in the beginning; He was True when the ages commenced and have ever been True. He is also True now - Guru Nanak

- Guru Nanak

Why search for him without?
